Nutrition Facts & Supplement Facts panels
Aimee builds FDA-format panels in Genesis R&D from your formula and supplier specifications. The agreed deliverables include a panel file and nutrient report, with serving size checked against the applicable requirements.
Ingredient & allergen statements
Aimee checks ingredient order, major allergens including sesame, flavors, colors and excipients against your supplier documents. She flags missing information so you know what to resolve.
Claim review memo
You receive written feedback on nutrient-content and structure/function wording, with disease-claim risks identified and alternative wording suggested where appropriate.
Artwork check before print
Aimee marks up draft and final artwork for required statements, type size, panel format and consistency with the agreed formula and claims.

Nutrition and regulatory experience
Aimee founded AEG Consulting in 2019 after work in regulatory affairs at Glanbia Performance Nutrition and nutrition and regulatory science at The Kraft Heinz Company.
Her industry work includes nutrition and supplement panels, ingredient and allergen reports, claims evaluation, and preliminary and final artwork review, including collaboration with Scientific Affairs and Legal.
Clients
AEG currently supports labeling and claims review for SlimFast, think!, Amazing Grass, and Isopure — brands Aimee has worked with since her time in regulatory affairs at Glanbia Performance Nutrition, now as an outside consultant.
Aimee focuses on U.S. FDA food and dietary supplement labels. If you also need USDA, Canadian or Proposition 65 support, raise it in your first brief so she can help clarify the next step.
The standard review does not include lab testing, legal opinions, NDI notifications, regulatory filings or claim-substantiation dossiers. Questions that need separate assessment are flagged early.
FDA generally does not pre-approve food or supplement labels. AEG checks the label against applicable requirements, including 21 CFR Part 101, to help identify problems before printing. The review is not government approval.
Common questions
What does a label review cost?
AEG provides hourly consulting. Ask for the current hourly rate and estimated hours for your product. The estimate depends on SKU count, formula complexity, available data, claims and artwork. Agree the scope and cost before work begins.
How long does a review take?
Turnaround depends on the project and the materials supplied. Genesis R&D-based panel work using a supplied formula and complete supporting materials takes about one week on average. Aimee confirms your schedule after reviewing the inputs; missing information or more complex work may take longer.
Are revisions included?
Revisions are part of the consulting service and are billed for time spent at the agreed hourly rate. Formula changes, new claims or additional artwork may affect the estimated hours and delivery schedule; agree any additional scope before work continues.
Do I need lab testing?
It depends on your product, processing, supplier data and claims. Database calculations can support nutrition panels, but they do not replace every testing need. Aimee flags data gaps and potential testing needs during the review. AEG does not run a laboratory.
Is this suitable for a startup or an established brand?
The service fits a first product launch, a reformulation or a label audit for an established brand. Send your category, number of SKUs and project stage so Aimee can confirm the fit.
Can you review a label already on shelf?
Yes. Share the current artwork and explain what has changed or what you want checked. Aimee confirms the inputs and scope for the audit.
How is this different from label software?
Software calculates a panel from the data entered. Aimee also reviews the inputs, ingredient and allergen statements, proposed claims and artwork, and explains the changes needed. Genesis R&D is one tool in that review.
